Finca Las Joyas is located near Montana de La Flor in Francisco Morazan department of central Honduras. Home to a large population of an indigenous Honduran tribe, the Tolupan (Jicaque), Montana de La Flor has been set apart as one of the few remaining protected pieces of land for the tribe.

This coffee was grown at 1600 masl by Santos Arnulfo Martinez, one of the chiefs of the Tolupan people. Directly farmer traded whole bean coffee roasted by Atypical Coffee in Little Rock, AR.
