This apple butter is made through a partnership with Sprout Urban Farms Co.‘s member-owners in an effort to reduce waste at FareMarket. Made with local apples from A&A Orchards in Green Forest, AR. A&A is a pollinator-friendly orchard and 100 percent solar powered. 

We prevented nearly 100 pounds of organic Fuji apples we received through a shipping error from going to waste and turned them into delicious apple butter, just in time Fall 2021 and sold all of it in 2022!

Sprout is a consumer cooperative, owned by the community. They're currently putting together an urban farm in Little Rock's South End neighborhood, and we look forward to providing their produce to you in the coming seasons.

Plus, it's sweeter knowing you're making a contribution to the community. Small-batch, once-a-year (maybe twice) opportunity. Some of the best apple butter we’ve ever had.
