This apple pie filling is made through a partnership with Sprout's member-owners in an effort to reduce waste at FareMarket. We prevented nearly 100 pounds of organic Fuji apples we received through a shipping error from going to wasted and turned them into delicious apple pie filling, just in time for Fall.

Sprout is a consumer cooperative, owned by the community. They're currently putting together an urban farm in Little Rock's South End neighborhood, and we look forward to providing their produce to you in the coming seasons.

And it's sweeter knowing you're making a contribution to the community. Small-batch, once-a-year (maybe twice) opportunity. Some of the best apple pies we’ve ever had.
