A Tech Founder's Journey

In February of 2022, I was homeless. I slept in the Barnes & Noble parking lot during an ice storm on the coldest night of the year. I showered at the Flying J and washed my clothes at Fun Wash.

I witnessed another homeless man–who didn't have a car like I did–taken away in an ambulance after spending the night in that storm. I was pretty scared, and that degree of vulnerability was new to me. I didn't know what the next day would be like, let alone what lay ahead for FareMarket.

From Pain to Power

I've lived in Little Rock for 10 years, searching for community. But I always seemed to end up in messes instead. Often at the hands of people who say community the loudest.

If I've learned anything, it's that our brightest days always ride the tailcoats of our darkest disappointments. I came back from that low point and, in just over a year, grew FareMarket's revenue by more than 2,500 percent.

Now I have a chance to create the kind of community I've always wanted–with you. I'm excited for FareMarket to offer fresh, seasonal produce boxes this fall, delivered straight to your door.

These boxes are more than just a way to get great local food–they're an invitation to build a more inclusive, sustainable local food movement with FareMarket.

Here's How It Works:

Each week, starting the first week of October, you'll receive a box of Arkansas-grown, seasonal produce delivered directly to your home.

It's a 10-week program, where you pay upfront for the whole season. This guarantees you 10 weeks of fresh, delicious produce while supporting local farmers.

We have several Buy Now Pay Later options you can find during the checkout process, if you'd like to stretch payments over 2 or more months.

During the checkout process, please specifiy your preferred delivery day and time in the order notes. If this changes, we will be responsive and flexible to meet your needs. Generally, we hope to do most deliveries on Thursday and Friday.
